OHYAMA'S SELECTED BRANDS![]() OHYAMA Meimon Tokubetsu Junmai Sake This junmaishu has a light, easy drinking character, with a pleasant mouthfeel and a clean finish. In common with many other junmaishu available nowadays, it is characterised by a lightness not found in junmaishu of old. Many aspects of this sake are imaprted by the Yuki Gesho strain of rice used, which is polished until the grains are 60% of their original size. The character of the drink varies subtly according to whether it is drunk chilled, at room temperature, or warmed. Type: Tokubetsu Junmaishu Capacity: 300ml, 720ml, 1800ml Taste: Light & Dry
Seimailbuai: 60.0% ABV: 15.0% - 15.9% Sake meter value: +3.0 - +4.0 Acidity: 1.1 - 1.2 ![]() OHYAMA Junmai Ginjo Ginsuika Sake This sake offers the perfect balance of aroma, taste and finish, combining a delicate fragrence and light, dry flavour with a well-defined umami taste. The aroma itself is discreet and refined, but has a pleasing robustness. Perhaps the drink's most distinctive characteristic, however, is its clean, crisp and refreshing aftertaste, which lingers beautifully, and flows not unlike a clear stream of cool water. Type: Junmai Ginjoshu Capacity: 500ml Taste: Light & Dry Seimailbuai: 55.0% ABV: 15.0% - 15.9% Sake meter value: +2.5 - +3.5 Acidity: 1.1 - 1.2
![]() OHYAMA Tokubetsu Junmai Nigori Sake The distinctive cloudy appearance of this Nigori Sake is achieved by retaining some of the white particles left over from the fermented rice, which are filtered out in the case of regular sake. This gives rise to a drink that posesses a young, fresh and fruity aroma, yet at the same time is decidedly light and dry on the tongue. Type: Tokubetsu Junmaishu Capacity: 500ml Taste: Light & Dry
Seimailbuai: 60.0% ABV: 14.0% - 14.9% Sake meter value: +4.0 - +5.0 Acidity: 1.3 - 1.4
