TAKASHIMIZU'S SELECTED BRANDS![]() TAKASHIMIZU Wacho This is Takashimizu's highest-quality daiginjoshu. Made from one of Japan's highest-quality sake rice strains, Yamada Nishiki, polished until it is only 35% of its original size, this sake is brewed in the severely cold conditions of Akita. This is a sake which combines a fruity flavour and fragrance with a crisp edge, and brims with elegance. May be enjoyed chilled or at room temperature. A sake of which the brewery is especially proud, it is made from Akita rice, polished to 60% of its original size and special roku-go yeast. A delicate sweetness and umami taste combine perfectly, and the sake has a smooth yet concentrated strength to its taste. Depending on the drinker's preference, this pure sake can be enjoyed at room temperature or as atsukan. Type: Junmaishu Capacity: 1800ml Taste: Rich & Dry
Seimailbuai: 60.0% ABV: 15.5% Sake meter value: 0 Acidity: 1.8 ![]() TAKASHIMIZU Jousen Honjozoshu This is the Takashimizu brewery's standard sake, produced using the traditional Akita method of slow distilling at a constant low temperature. This sake has a mature, elegant taste, a full fragrance and can be enjoyed equally either hot or cold. While this is a robust sake, it slides down the throat very smoothly, and is a perfect accompaniment to a wide range of cuisine. Type: Honjozoshu Capacity: 1800ml Taste: Light & Sweet
