Much-loved by our customers, it is characterised by its well-matured, full-bodied taste and mellow tones, and can accompany a range of cuisine. If served hot, it suits salty or rich dishes, such as tempura, sukiyaki, tofu dishes or nabe stews. Depending on the temperature at which the sake is drunk, the levels of dryness and sweetness vary. ![]() HAKUTSURU Junmai Ginjo Using only the finest rice, and Nada's famed miyamizu natural spring water, this junmai ginjo has been brewed with meticulous care and Hakutsuru's traditional methods. This flowery fragrant sake has a silky, well-balanced smoothness and can be enjoyed chilled or at room temperature. It goes especially well with dishes with a slightly salty or soy taste such as sauteed vegetables, baby clams steamed in sake, Japanese pickles, sashimi and yakitori (chicken cooked over charcoal). The techniques used to produce this sake mix the expert skills of the Tamba toji masters and Hakutsuru's state-of-the-art brewing technology. The finished sake is graceful with fruity aromas and velvety smoothness which can be enjoyed both chilled and at room temperature. The name of this exquisite junmai ginjoshu translates as "soaring cloud", and it is one of the sakes of which the brewery is most proud.
