Good news for wasabi lovers – the one and only Original S&B Wasabi Sauce, a lip-tingling combination of creamy mayonnaise and piquant wasabi – has fi nally arrived in Europe. This cupboardfriendly sauce can be drizzled over homemade sushi, but is just at home accompanying your Sunday roast, as a dipping sauce for chips, or on the side with fried or grilled fish. It’s milder than the sensational sting of wasabi paste, served as an integral element of sushi and sashimi, but retains just enough of wasabi’s characteristic sharpness and heat. Original S&B Wasabi Sauce also has no added colouring.
How to Make Wasabi Mash
Wasabi mash is becoming increasingly popular. It’s so simple: create the mash potato and squeeze S&B Wasabi Sauce or Wasabi Paste into it to your taste. You can also use wasabi as a substitute for horseradish for a hot new taste. Squeeze S&B Wasabi Sauce into boiled, chopped potatoes for a Japanese twist on potato salad, or serve on the side with sausages for a dip with a difference.
