Delicious lunch today from the newly opened Bishopsgate (Liverpool Street, London) branch of Tsuru. Today it was Chicken Katsu Curry with the “famous Tsuru 8-hour curry sauce” which really was as tasty as any I’ve ever had in Japan. I confess to being 1) a total braek junkie and therefore 2) highly excited about going back next week to try their Katsu Sando - “crispy katsu in soft white bread with shredded cabbage, tonkastu sauce and mustard mayo”. A veritable steal at 3.95. Bonus feature! A lovely outside seating area, in a wee pocket of Liverpool Street that’s not actually yet totally overrun by busy busy people….

I know I shouldn’t laugh, but the phrase “neurotic fish origami” has me tickled pink.
